Rewind Is Back for the End of the Year
Your year on Notflix, wrapped up
It’s that time of year again! Every app on your phone is about to send you a “here’s your year” recap, and Notflix is getting in on it too. Rewind is back!
It’s a seasonal thing, like eggnog: Rewind is open from now through the end of January, then it goes back in the box until the end of next year. So grab some hot cocoa and see how much of your year you spent on the couch.
How to use it
- Go to wrapped.melvin-media.com (it’s also “Rewind” on the Services page).
- Click Sign in with Plex and log in with the same Plex account you watch with.
- Watch your year play back.
That’s it. No new account, no new password.
What’s in it
- Your Rewind: a slideshow of your year since January 1st: what you watched the most, how much time you spent doing it, your top movies, shows and anime. It comes with snow falling and theme music, because it’s almost December and I have no restraint.
- Ratings and links: titles show their year and IMDb/Rotten Tomatoes scores, with links to IMDb, Rotten Tomatoes and Letterboxd if you want to argue about them.
- Dashboard: server-wide numbers: how big the libraries are, how much is in them, and how many requests came in lately.
- Activity and history: what’s playing right now and what you’ve watched recently.
It covers Movies, TV Shows, Anime and Anime Movies. Anything you bailed on before the halfway mark doesn’t count, so that show you gave up on after ten minutes won’t haunt your top five.
Don’t wait too long
The year is almost over and the numbers only get better from here. Check in now to see where you stand, then come back after the holidays for the final tally. If you’ve been meaning to finish a show, this is your sign.
Just don’t sleep on it: once January wraps up, so does Rewind.
If something looks off, like a show that’s missing or a number that seems way too high (it probably isn’t), let me know.
Happy rewinding!
